There may be many moments in life one finds exciting. Whether this has to do with your interactions with certain people, places, or activities, it may be that life feels especially wonderful when you are engaging in whatever it may be that lights up your heart. And while these moments may in fact be beautiful, many times, life can be full of routine moments as well, things that need to get done, work to do, and so forth. While it may be important to fill your life with whatever it is you love as much as possible, this may also need to be balanced out with finding joy and appreciation in even the simplest of moments.
When one is able to maintain a state of peace and calm from within, it is much more likely to be able to move through the days from a place of peace, flowing through each moment, and embracing the elements that each day brings. Life may be filled with wonderful moments, ordinary moments such as doing the dishes or putting clothes away, and then there are the challenging moments and struggles. Even during difficult times though, if one can choose to perceive the challenge in a more peaceful way, or evaluate what can be learned or how one is growing as a result, this will help significantly. It may be that there are times when one doesn’t feel well and has to slow down, or even miss out on enjoyable activities from time to time. Or it may be that emotional challenges arise from time to time, creating a sense of unease, sadness, fear, and so forth.
When these moments occur, how can one come back into a state of peace and balance from within? There may be a variety of ways, depending on what works for you. Some people may prefer a meditation routine where they focus on their breathing, and other sensations within the present moment. Some may enjoy sitting or walking in nature, which may be considered an additional form of meditation. You may also prefer some gentle stretching or yoga poses, reading an uplifting book, or enjoying a relaxing bubble bath. Whatever it may be that gets you centered with your own peace, it’s important to make a routine of allowing for this time on a regular basis.
I would also encourage you to fill your life with the things you love as much as possible. What are the people, places, experiences, and activities that truly light you up from within? How can you incorporate these types of moments into your life more often? And how can you allow more spaciousness in your schedule, so that you may have time to relax and enjoy these types of moments? The more you stay centered within your own peace and joy, the better you will feel, and the greater blessing you will be to those around you as well. I hope that these ideas have been helpful. Just keep in mind that the more you are centered in seeing the world from a place of love and gratitude, the more beautiful life will become.
